Oh Smile

I know I have been a sucky blogger lately. I mean really sucky. Work is crazy, life is crazy and I am just trying to accomplish my work life balance. But life has definitely been great! Chris and I have been having quite the month and so look forward to all that May has in store for us. Second Wedding Anniversary, vacation, weddings, parties and so much more! Just call us the Busy Bee Lenz's. I know that a lot of others can relate to us right now! We are booked straight through the end of JUNE!

So whats been taking up a lot of my time? Work has been filled with nonstop list of to-do's so by the time I get home from work the last thing I want to do it look at a computer, hence the lack of blogging. I also take classes every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30-9pm to freshen up my excel skills. Then of course there are also projects around the house and just the same old same old of maintaining it. And there are lots of DIY's approaching and I can't wait to share them with you.

I am very pleased to say that my Scentsy business is booming! When I first started Scentsy I had no idea how great of an outcome it would be! Not only do I absolutely love the product but I also love doing the parties. I have met some wonderful women through the process and its really a great feeling knowing that what I am selling makes people truly happy. There is nothing better than walking into a home or room that smells amazing!

With Scentsy exceeding my expectations I quickly ran out of business cards. So it was time to find something fun and classy that fits my style. So to Etsy I went (seriously what would we do without this site?!). There I found Oh Smile by Eva. She has ready built templates and she also creates custom designs. Working with her was a breeze and she had them done in no time at all. If you are in need of some calling cards she is the one to contact. Her stuff is amazing! See my new cards below! Love them! And don't forget to check out the new things on my Scentsy website! There is something for everyone and the Vanilla Suede scent is to die for!

This week, as usual, is a busy one with a busy weekend to follow. Expect a very long April recap full of pictures and stories to tell! Hope you are all doing well and even though I have been slacking in posting department I have still been reading all of yours! xoxo

Spring Fun

I have been trying for a few days to load up pics from this past weekend but for some reason it's taking forever and not really cooperating with me! This is why I have been absent from posting. Excuses, excuses I know!

This past weekend was a busy one with it being Easter Weekend. Saturday we spent the day in Livingston with my side of the family and enjoyed some oh so amazing boiled shrimp, corn and potatoes! Chris and my dad did an amazing job and we ate till our stomachs couldn't take it anymore. We played washers and enjoyed some much needed family time. Pictures to come soon if they ever load on here! Then Sunday we went to Beaumont to spend the day with Chris' side of the family. It turned out to be a beautiful day and got to spend some much needed quality time with his grandpa.

This week has been a crazy one. Work has been insane and rewarding at the same time. I am finally starting to get some credit around here and the top guys have even given their praises. It's a big relief and things are starting to move upwards. I have been here for 5 years come June and my time here is starting to pay off.

Tomorrow I am taking off to clean the house and get ready for a very exciting weekend! Before I get into that I have an odd question for all you clean freaks out there. How long does it take you to clean your house and do you have any tricks up your sleeve to make everything spic and span? I have a love/hate relationship with cleaning. I don't necessarily look forward to cleaning but its also a stress reliever especially when its all done and Chris is not there to mess it up. I may be a freak for this but don't judge me: the last thing I do is vacuum so that its all nice and neat lines and once I am done I try not to walk on the carpet. It's just so nice to enjoy a clean house.

Ok so this weekend Chris and I are having our First Annual Lenz Crawfish Boil! I am so excited and absolutely thrilled that almost everyone is going to be there. In Texas crawfish season is a BIG deal! There is nothing better than good spicy crawfish with a cold beer and your closest family and friends on a gorgeous spring day! And gorgeous it will be! The weather is supposed to be perfect this Saturday. Hopefully I can get some sun on these pasty legs of mine. We have almost everything ready to go! Bring it on!

Ok I'm sorry but I have to get back to work. Gotta stay on there good graces! I'll post more later! xoxo
