I'm Obsessed!

Pinterest! It's one of the most inspirational websites out there right now. I can spend hours upon hours searching for home decor, party ideas, color combos, fashion and you name they have it! You can also pin items yourself of your favorite things. It's so easy and fun! If you haven't discovered this heavenly site you are really missing out! Office Space

So one of the perks of my new job is that I get to work from home! This is a huge deal for me as I have always wanted to work close to home or later be a stay at home mom but now I will get the best of both worlds! To me that is a huge bonus!!!

I don't really have an office space in our house as we have one room occupied as the guest bedroom and the other is a workout/sewing/future nursery room. However, our master bedroom is large enough and there is a perfect nook for a desk and my work area.

At this moment I am in the middle of restoring an old desk and painting it white. It would work perfectly for the space I have in mind. I want the space to reflect me and my work but still tie into my room decor so it doesn't feel so out of place. Below are a few inspirational photos. Not all work with what I am going for but still have key things that catch my eye.

I love the organization and the girly look.

And I hope I can find a chair that really works like this!

This is more along the lines of the space I actually have to work with.

The simple accessories really pull it all together.

I also wouldn't mind having a pin board I can use to stick important items

or fabric and inspirational photos

I absolutely LOVE this one for the clean and simple elegance of it!

With my small space it will be a challenge but shelves would help.

And this one is the perfect Interior Designer's office.

And if I had bigger space this would be my office!!!

The crisp white with the bright splashes of color are such a great combo!

The Big News

Wow what an amazing weekend!!! I will have to fill you in more about it tomorrow. But today I will finally share with everyone what my big secret is!

After six long years I have decided to part ways with the company I am currently with to join forces with my Interior Designer friend, Lauren, with Triple L Designs!!! I am beyond thrilled when the opportunity was presented to me and being able to do something that I love so much and get paid to do it was something that I just couldn't pass up!

Change has always been something to scare me but I am so at peace with this and both the hubby and I knew it was the right move for me/us. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted and I can feel myself coming out of this slump I have been in for way too long. I am grateful for all the years that I had here and truly thankful for all that I had learned along the way. People always told me though that if you are not happy you have to do something about and that is exactly what I did! I start my new adventure mid May but you will be hearing from me alot more as I start this new journey in my life.

Thank you to everyone for having all the patience in the world with me and my lack of blogging. But I am back and couldn't be happier!
