Loving Life

Things have been going really great lately. Work is getting much better. My roles and responsibilities have changed for the better and I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. I have been here for almost 5 years now and so much has changed. People have come and gone, we have seen our fair share of layoffs, the ups and downs of a real estate world and my never-ending role changes. But I have to say its been a growing experience and I am proud of where I am today.

A moment of complete honesty, Chris and I were going through a rut and were fighting alot. I know alot of times we only like to share the good news on our blogs and hide the bad. But lets be honest, it happens to us all. Its those hard times that make us so much stronger. We experienced alot of challenges in 2009 our biggest was getting our first house. It's such an exciting time but it can also pile on the stress. I am happy to say though that Chris and are doing soooo much better now maybe even better than before. He is my rock, the love of my life and my best friend! Without him I would be lost. We have been together for almost 7 years now. So much has changed from when we first met and we have grown so much together. We are truly blessed! Marriage isn't always easy but isn't the making up the fun part!

I have really started focusing on getting my body back in shape. My best friend Jenn & I just started up Bikram Yoga. Yes we are crazy! We do yoga in a 105 degree room and sweat our asses off for an hour and a half. But I must say its the best work out I have ever done! Not only do I feel amazing but I can see the difference in my body. I'm toning up tremendously, my posture is aligned now, it has detoxed my body and cleared my mind for a more positive attitude. Even Chris has noticed a difference. Thank you Bikram! Now if it wasn't so expensive I would do it everyday!

Brixie got spayed last week and her recovery went well. She is over 35lbs at 5 1/2 months. She has so much energy and loves to cuddle and play. Now if I can just keep her off the couch! She thinks she is Adrienne's size (4lbs).

Today after work I am going to go get my hair done. I haven't even decided what I want to do with it yet. Go more blond? Cut it to my shoulders? I have no clue! What do you think?

Ok lunch is over and I have to get back to work. Gotta pay the bills you know!

I hope you are all having a great week! And thank you to everyone that reads my blog. You are all such wonderful ladies! I am beyond blessed! xoxo

P.S. exciting news to come in the next few days! NO I AM NOT PREGNANT so get that out of your mind now, lol.

You are so funny, I did instantly think you might be preggo... a little too much making up? :) I'm glad you and Chris are doing well.. we ALL have our rough patches and can I just say you are CRAZY for doing the b-yoga? I could never deal with the 105 heat!

I am glad you decided to be honest. I hate blogs (not really hate but you know) who are all about the perfect. I mean, marriage is far from perfect and every marriage goes through down times. Our first two years of marriage were exhustingly hard but now we click and flow, and it is so much better.
I wish I had the balls to do Bikram Yoga!!

P.S. Go darker! Good Luck!

Every has ups and downs, and it's good you're not afraid to admit that you're normal! People who never fight and are always patient are so weird! Who can possibly live up to that? That's good that you're doing well. I've heard about that Bikram yoga. It sounds intense. I can't even handle the sauna at the gym. Is it a dry heat or a humid one?

Hey Danielle! I love hearing about honest life! And yup, it happens to all. Marriage is just tough sometimes because its signing up for a lifetime of giving. But it's fun isn't it? Thanks for being honest, it makes the rest of realize we're normal too! ;)
