I thinking that I am finally being lifted out of my blogging rut!!!! I know I have been MIA for a month and even before that wasn't doing that great of a job getting back into the swing of things. Well ladies and gents this is all about to change. It's summer time and this is my time of year! This post will be kind of random and all over the place but bear with me and in the post ahead I will be going into further detail about them!
Chris and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary in May! Wow how time has flown by! I feels like just yesterday I was walking down the aisle to my husband to be and now we are living our happily ever after! I couldn't imagine being married to a better man. I love you Chris!
So I have a bad case of baby fever. Its always in the fore front of my mind and it seems that everywhere I turn its all about babies. Friends having babies, diaper commercials, a cute adorable baby in the grocery store. Yep baby on the brain! Now don't worry I am not sugar coating everything! It's hard work being a mom and everyone definitely has their ups and downs. Fussy babies, the terrible two's, stinky diapers and the other wonderful messes that need to be cleaned up. But its all worth it to me and I so look forward to the day that we get pregnant. We have decided to wait another year before trying but sometimes I get so anxious and we have both been getting on the right track in order to "prepare" for starting a family. So I need some advice ladies. How are you getting through baby fever or how did you finally say enough is enough and just started trying? And did you get pregnant right away or did it take you awhile? I know its all about timing and when its right it just happens. But for now I need patience (thanks to my dad I wasn't born with any, lol)!
On other news Chris got promoted this morning!!!! I am so proud of him and he has worked soooo hard! He will be spending alot more time in the office and I am sure that there will be plenty of times that he will come home cranky but I hope that I can greet him at the door and take away any of his worries. So proud of him!
Lots of changes have been going on in the Lenz household and I am totally addicted to DIY projects. I have already started a few and I am waiting on a few more things to arrive to finish the rest but I am really excited to see all the hard work that we have been doing become a final product! I am totally obsessed with Young House Love. They have so many great ideas and tips! If you haven't visited their website yet it's a must!
Ok I have been rambling for long enough. I am back ladies and hopefully on the next post I can load up some pictures and go into more random thoughts, lol! xoxo

Yay for Chris' promotion! I have had baby brain a lot too! We won't be having kids for at least 3-4 for more years. Luckily lots of our friends are having babies and it helps me to just be able to be around them, once they spit up on me repeatedly and need a diaper change, it's pretty easy for me to hand them back to their parents!
Congrats on your 2 year anniversary!
Happy belated 2 years!! We are waiting about 2 or 3 more years to have kids. I just want to finish grad school, so that is enough to keep my mind off of it.
Congrats on Chris' promotion!! Wahoo!
