Life Planner LOVE!!!

Is everyone having a fabulous summer?  Ours has been fun, busy and eventful!  With my new job, crazy schedule and fall events booking up fast I needed something to get my life in order.  Have you heard of Erin Condren's Life Planners yet?  If not you are missing out! 

I ordered my life planner two weeks ago and guess what came in the mail yesterday?!  I am obsessed with it! Even the packaging it came in was precious!  Thanks Erin and your team for all your hard work!

Isn't it gorgeous!  I love that I was able to have it personalized.  So many times planners are generic but certainly not these!

I opened this beauty and each page is something wonderful and different!

Summer Break

Can you tell I have been MIA lately?!  Yes I have been taking a bit of a "summer break."  I have been focusing on work, summer projects and preparing for our end of summer vacation!  This blog is going to go through a lot of changes until summer is over but I promise it will be worth the wait.  So hang in there cause I will be back in September and in full force!  Lot's of home tours, updates in our crazy Lenz life and many more exciting things to come!  Hope yall are having a fun, eventful summer!  In my opinion fall can't get here soon enough.  These triple digits are killing me! xoxo

E-Design Giveaway!

Did you miss me? It's been way too long since I last blogged. Shame on me I know, but I have still made sure to catch up on what all you have been up to and with Twitter I still feel like I am in the loop a bit.

Let's play catch up! Where to begin? Well I started my new job as Assistant Designer at Triple L Designs and I am loving every minute of it. I had no idea what I was missing out on in life until I started this job. Loving what you do makes a huge difference and my happiness has been noted by all of my closest friends and family. If you are to the point in your life and you are not happy do something about it. It's the greatest advice I have ever been given. Life is too short to not be happy!

The Interior Design world has been keeping me on my toes! There is so much behind the scenes that goes into it. It's right up my alley! From picking fabrics, dealing with workrooms, shopping for one of a kind accessories and furniture to meeting with clients...have I told you how much I love my job, lol! And although I have not been posting much on this blog lately, I have been posting alot on our design blog here!

Ok what else has been going on?! We FINALLY finished our wooden floors. They are amazing and turned out so much better than what I thought they would, but I will leave that for another post.

Today it's reached 100 degrees in Houston! The heat is unbearable and they only way to survive is to crank up the air conditioning or be submerged under water in the pool. Lately I have been letting the dogs play in the sprinklers. It's quiet a sit to see.

Since I have been working primarily from home I have also been able to make dinner almost every night of the week. Just call me Betty Crocker or Martha Stewart. None have been super picture worthy yet. Maybe next time!
