Let it Snow!

Houston, Texas - Hot, humid and it's summertime all year round. Jeez, I have even worn shorts on Xmas day before. Well not this year!!! Yes ladies and gents we have a chance of snow on Friday!!! I have personally only seen a few snowflakes in my lifetime, you know the ones where they turn to water before they even hit your head. And the last time that it snowed a good portion in Houston guess where I was...Florida. So I was thrilled when I heard on the news yesterday morning that we had a chance of snow on Friday. When I shared my excitement with the hubby he just laughed and told me not to get my hopes up, it is Houston. Well to late...I am thrilled that there is even a possibility and can't wait for its arrival! See proof of snow below:

Thank you weatherman! I hope you do not disappoint! Maybe the chances of a white Christmas aren't that fairytale after all.

Christmas is only 24 days away! I am patiently waiting. My Christmas presents are already wrapped and the dates to exchange are set. The weekends are beginning to quickly fill and my Xmas cards will be going out at the end of this week. I still need to figure out our menu for Christmas Eve at our house though. What are some of your favorite Christmas meals? Help me out ladies!

Ok well I have to get back to work so I can have fun signing our holiday cards for the troops overseas later this afternoon. May you all stay warm and cozy today! My heater is going full blast! xoxo

I will keep my fingers crossed for your snow! I don't like it & would like for it to always stay away. :)

Mr. Potts & I eat Mexican food for dinner on Christmas Eve. A tradition for us.

I've been perusing my cookbooks & have found a few ideas - one being a dinner of small filets with a peppercorn glaze.

There's snow all over the ground here...every morning on my way to work, I throw on a hoodie, my winter jacket, scarf, mitts and boots. I've lived with snow all of my life, and I'm getting to the point where I am hating it!

That being said...I'll keep my fingers crossed for you to get some snow! I'd probably appreciate it much more (like you do!) if I didn't see it often.
