As promised, I am back today with pictures! First off, as I mentioned in yesterday's post our next door neighbors gave birth to Nora Isabelle early Sunday morning. Later that day we were able to go visit her and the proud parents at the hospital. Here are a few pictures from that evening.
Proud Daddy. She already has him wrapped around her finger!
My heart is melting with baby Nora in my arms!
Chris was a little nervous to hold her at first but he was a natural.
I'm in love!
All stretched out. She also has a full head of hair. Gorgeous!
They got home from the hospital last night and we can't wait to spend some time with her this evening. Like I said before my baby fever is in full force! I can't wait to experience the joy of having our own and holding baby Nora made me want it even more. It was definitely some motivation to get our ducks in a row and do what we need to do to get ready. So excited! Congrats again Ryan & Suz! Yall are amazing parents already!
Now comes the brave part! The 30 Day Shred was calling my name last night. As soon as I got home I changed into my workout attire and got straight to business. I took the before pictures and weighed myself on the scale. Chris joined me but didn't want me to post the pictures of himself so this part I will be doing alone. He is still by my side working out with me and we are being a great support team! Like I said before, I am doing this to tone, loose a little bit of weight (not an excessive amount) and just feel good about myself and be healthy. Nothing wrong with that. As I also stated in my previous post, all my weight goes to my stomach, hips and butt. So here it is ladies.
Age: 26

Yes I am smiling because I am ready to get started!
After all the picture taking we got pumped and ready to start. I quickly began to realize just how out of shape I really was. Things that were once simple routines were not so simple and lets just say it was a good thing that Chris was working out right next to me or I probably would have stopped a lot more in between moves. But I kept going and after the 25 minute video (yep only 25 minutes) I could feel the burn in my abs, calves and arms. It was pretty much like that for the rest of the night and especially feeling it this morning! But I survived the first workout. That's the main thing and although I feel sore today I am excited about doing it all over again tonight! I am going to make this a weekly update. So every Tuesday I will post about my hopeful success and my progress along the way. I am really excited to see some results.

Hope you all survived the manic Monday and hopefully not having a Muesday today! Please let the week go by quickly! xoxo

You look good with a baby in your arms ;) And girl, you look great already! But, I totally can relate with the wanting to get in shape deal. I love the 30-day shred (but haven't gotten past doing it 2 days in a row. ha!) I can't wait to see how you like it.
Great job getting started! I tend to do this one off & on when I get a little bored with what I'm normally doing. Either that, or I travel with it.
Looking forward to you sharing your results!
You go girl! Get it!! I'll be honest, I am an avid work-er-out-er (does that make sense?! lol) and have been stuck in quite a rut the past couple months. But I read your blog post about getting in shape Sunday and have re-devoted myself. So maybe we can do this together! If you need some support, let me know!! - Rachael Cherry
BEST OF LUCK! I am very similar in size and height. I trained for a half marathon in June and it helped tone me up. I was quite annoyed I didn't loose any weight though. I will be following your posts diligently for ideas!!!
Hi, I am a new follower! I have been trying the whole weight loss program for myself as well. Good Luck!!
I have got baby fever bad too! I tried the 30 day shred a few months ago and I couldn't stay with it. I just started back this morning though! Good luck!
30 day shred!! eeek! Man oh man you are brave! I have tried to do that many times and it really is a great workout- go Chris for holding you accountable! I can't wait to see how it works out for you... oh and you look great already but I know doing the shred for only 4 days sure made me feel better about myself too :)
