OK you can call me crazy but tonight Chris and I are pulling down all of our Christmas decor from the attic. Chill out! I am not...I repeat...I am not decorating already! But I am trying to prepare for what I have in store for next Friday!!! My sweet friend and coworker, Ashley, and I are heading to the Nutcracker Market! Woo-hoo! We are skipping a day of work for some shopping fun! For those of you that don't know what the Nutcracker Market is, it is a fabulous 4 day market in Houston held at the Reliant Center that has tons of holiday decor, gifts, yummy food and house decor for all year round! It really is heaven on earth! Not only is it tons of fun but you can also drink while you shop! Does it get any better than that?!

So in order to prepare for this glorious event the hubby and I are going to go through all of our Christmas decor tonight to make sure we don't make any duplicate purchases and to see what we really want to get or replace for this year. Last year I went a little crazy on the after Christmas sales, waking up at the crack of dawn to hit the closest Target, Garden Ridge and Kohl's. But it has been so long since I made those purchases and they went right up in the attic with all the rest of the packed decor once I got home. So I just need a little refresher!I am really looking forward to Christmas this year. I love it when the house is all decorated, warm and cozy! Lights hung everywhere and the cold chill in the air. Makes me crave a hot Starbucks right now, lol! Bring on the holidays!

I have pulled out one box of decorations already. Like you, I was just taking inventory and figuring out what we need! I have just realized that I am hosting our first Christmas event of the year ONE MONTH from today.. so I will be decorating earlier than usual this year. I'm so excited about it!!
